Postponement of trustee’s sale to be provided in writing

In connection with one-to-four unit residential properties, a trustee who postpones a trustee’s sale for ten days or longer is required to provided written notice of the postponement to the defaulting owner within five business days following the postponement. The postponement notice is to include the new sale date and time. The trustee delivering the postponement notice is still required to publicly declare the postponement at the time and place the sale was to have taken place prior to the postponement.
