What is the most important factor when choosing a brokerage company to work for?

I agree with Steven Bradley’s comment, however, the poll includes “Reputation” which is another word for integrity in that integrity generates one’s reputation.
Interestingly, the poll had only 29% of respondents voting for the integrity (reputation) aspect. While money is always important—brokers of low integrity skim egregiously heavy amounts off the top of earned commissions—but for money, which is really another manifestation of “integrity,” the rest is bling.
In your recent poll, you left out the most important aspect when choosing any brokerage, and that’s integrity. I have worked for several brokerages, and the one factor that drew me to my present employment is the integrity and principled behavior of everyone in the office.
I realize that this is a somewhat difficult to define quality, but the reality is that one’s longevity in the business is dictated by his business practices.
