In order for a Department of Real Estate (DRE) broker license applicant to qualify for the DRE broker exam with education in lieu of the two years’ full-time DRE salesperson experience, the applicant must now show proof of a four-year degree with a major or minor in real estate.
I’ve been license since Jan. 1987, and I’ve been doing it full-time for the last 14 years since. Am I required to have a four years college degree to be qualified for a broker license? I have my Associate Degree in Business Administration/Entrepreneuship, or is it only required if the lecensee has just have 2-years of activity as full-time sales agent in the industry?
