Do you know of brokers filing arbitration complaints with their local Association of Realtors (AOR) when another broker solicits their licensed employees?

Although I would hate to loose a great agent, because they were enticed away by another Broker, I see no problem with this. Prior to Real estate I worked in an executive position at a large corporation. I was solicited by others to take positions with their department and have had many of my employees solicited by others. In some situations I encouraged an employee to move on because it was for their betterment. I on occasion accepted other posititions when solicited not only for money but for the opportunity to learn another aspect of the business. As a Broker you should be proud to see your agents grow and if you can’t offer what another Broker can let them move on. Again money is not always the driving force. More education or guidance is an incentive to try another Broker as well. If one of my agents is reading this it does NOT mean they can move elsewhere. : )
I wasn’t aware you could file an arbitration if someone solicits your agents. Under what provision of the Code of Ethics would allow this? Has anyone done this with success?
