Health and Safety Code §18035
An escrow agent who receives written notice of a dispute from any party to an escrow for the sale of a mobilehome must notify the party of the party’s right to have escrow hold all funds by submitting a written request to the escrow agent to do so. This notice from escrow of the right to have funds held must also be given at the opening of the escrow. All funds held as a deposit in escrow must be held upon the escrow agent’s receipt of the written request to hold funds.
