House prices were on a relatively steady small upward growth through the 50’s. All the ideas which encourage inflation, including wage increases, real estate investment accelerated tax benefits are negative, that is detrimental, to those on either a fixed income or lower income.
It sure helps to have the minimum wage raised for many reasons. I believe it may
even help with home sales especially if one income earner is making more income and the minimum wage earner has been raised. Every penny helps for those wishing the American dream to own a home for their familes. It also helps with putting food on the table as so many have to rely on food stamps. Most people do not know how hard it is for those people to survive.
